Not mine. As much as I enjoyed my wedding planning, I’m not crazy enough to do it again so soon.

My best friend Jemima is getting married in February of next year, and I’m a bridesmaid, of course. She just sent us all (her bridesmaids) an email to tell us to start looking for designs of dresses we want to wear. She also asked us to send over our favorite color, shoe size, and shirt size (maybe she’s getting us custom tshirts). These little updates get me so excited.

This is it! My best bud is really truly getting married to the love of her life, and I want to be there every step of the way even if we’re thousands of miles apart.

I just finished Skype-ing with my best friend Jemima who currently resides in the US. I’m helping her plan her Philippine wedding next year, so I’m expecting a lot more Skype sessions in the months to come.

I know this service has been around for a long time, my friends who are in long-distance relationships swear by it, but I signed up for an account just last year when I resigned from my job. I signed up so I could video-chat with my ex-officemates. I was so amused with it at first, it reminded me of the teleconferencing services we used to hold meetings with our counterparts all over the globe back when I was still working.

I’m now convincing my sister May to set an account up so I can visually keep in touch with my family, you know, see my cats and all.

Anyone here into Skype, too? It’s fun, ‘no?

I’m a happy girl this Sunday, because I met up with my best buddy in the whole world, Jemima! She moved to the US in 2001 breaking my poor little 18-year old heart, and the last time I saw her was back in 2004 when she came home to visit. I wasn’t counting on seeing her until my wedding next year, but fortunately she had her reasons to come home now even for just a short while, because I missed her so!

Jem looked much taller and youthful than when I last saw her, if I didn’t know her any better I’d think she was taking hgh supplements. She’s also slimmer and sexier now, I’m so proud and inspired! She was always the more disciplined one. In between catching up with each other, she was giving me diet and exercise tips. I can’t wait to be as slim as she is!

More importantly, I am so happy that Abet and Jem finally met, my two best friends! Abet and I have been together for almost four years and I’ve been telling one about the other for that long now. And I can’t say enough how glad I am that Jem approves of Abet for me, it means a lot. I jokingly told Abet I’ll drop him like a hot potato if my buddy doesn’t like him.

Budz, it was great seeing you today! I missed you sooooo much! Thank you for the goodies for me and my family!  I’ll be seeing you again real soon! I love you!
