Broke!

I’m too poor right now! *sniff* Don’t you just hate it when there’s too much month at the end of your money?

My annual membership at the spa has expired, and I can’t afford to renew it right now. Such a bummer ’cause I’m a girl who likes her Swedish massages, jacuzzi tubs and saunas, and God knows I badly need a spa session right now. Same with all the nice things I’m lemming for: a purple Longchamp bag, the Urban Decay Naked eyeshadow palette, Steve Madden sandals, etc. I couldn’t even buy myself anything at Forever21 last weekend! Thankfully my generous boyfriend bought me a wallet there – - and put money inside it, hehe. I’m so kawawa. And here’s the clincher: I probably won’t get to watch CATS. Aray!

I don’t get to enjoy my money much these days, my paycheck now goes straight to the wedding fund/start-up fund and travel fund that there’s not much left for me to spend. I just keep on reminding myself that it’s going to be all worth it when I (#5) take my sister to Hong Kong Disneyland this year, and when I (#27) have that beautiful and awesome wedding.

But I really want to renew my spa membership.

  1. ok lang yan, at least may pinupuntahan ang pera mo. mahirap yung di mo namamalayan na ubos na pera mo at di mo alam san napunta. he he. :)

will be watching cats next week. let’s see how it goes. i’m not really fond of plays, the last one i watched was [gulp] miss saigon pa, 10 years ago. he he! kakahiya! but i’m hoping to enjoy this time. :)

  2. hi andrea!

before when i was so broke that i had to let go of spa, yoga became the substitute. it has the same effect, soothing on the muscles and relaxing. may bonus pa, “feeling sexy” because it helps in firming the muscles, but please don’t expect instant results. it does take a while, kaya note, “feeling sexy” lang, heheh!

still, i had to attend yoga classes, which i cut down then to once a week. tipid mode ako but i did not want to compromise on doing the poses right. then i did yoga on my own at least twice a week, so that’s thrice a week including my class. :)

may na-attendan akong free class sa makati before. actually, di talaga free, by donation so up to you how much. :)

  3. chyng: Hi Chyng! Tagal pa naman ang wedding, so right now relax-relax muna. But I’m sure as the date nears, aba, spa galore ito!

wengke: Hi wengke! Thanks for visiting! Matagal ko nang gustong magka-Longchamp, but I keep putting off buying one. I want to get one soon.

kg: True, I keep reminding myself that. Inggit ako, makakanood ka ng CATS. Do share how it goes!

lyndree: Uy, actually I’m going to do yoga na this month. I’m just waiting for my next paycheck na to sign up, hehe. I want to do Bikram yoga.

mai: Excellent suggestion! :D It won’t cost a cent, and it’ll be more fun, hehe! *winks*

Helga: I’m so with you when you say there’s never enough. Hay, life!

  4. Ouch. I can relate to this. It’s when I don’t have money that I feel like spending the most. If my wallet could talk, it’d tell me to stay put in the house without turning the laptop on so I won’t know what I’m missing, shopping-wise.
