My first choice for wedding favors were personalized or purple M&M’s, but because shipping alone will cost us our entire budget for favors, I wanted to explore other options. Fortunately, Abet’s aunt and cousins will be coming home from the US for our wedding and would be happy to take the chocolates with them. It’s really amazing how God provides. I’ll get to have my purple chocolates after all.

I can’t think of a more perfect favor from us than these. Firstly, we wanted something edible. Secondly, our last names both start with M. We didn’t put any text in, our chocolates will just have a white ‘m’ on them. Next, most of my friends know what a big chocoholic I am. And I don’t know anyone who eats more M&M’s than I do, seriously. I eat them a lot. I do the grocery, I pick up a pack. I buy toiletries at Watson’s or medicine at Mercury, I pick up a pack. I always have them in my bag. I’m not just chocoholic, I’m M&M’s-aholic. These favors are oh-so-Dea.

I ordered them on http://www.mymms.com and had them shipped to Abet’s aunt’s house, and she told Abet that they have arrived. I’m so happy that they’ll be carrying the chocolates for us, we would not have been able to afford M&M’s otherwise. Tomorrow, Abet and I will brave Divisoria to look for glass bottles or jars to put the chocolates in, they have everything from cheap toys and houseware to discount dental supplies, I’m sure we’ll be able to find what we need.

Abet’s family will arrive two days before the wedding. I’ll be packing my favors the night before I get married. I’ll be enlisting the help of my brothers and sister for this. I hope I don’t eat the chocolates while I pack.
